I took this picture Thanksgiving morning as the sun was coming up. It’s not the clearest as it was taken through a window, but it was beautiful and peaceful. It shows us that even though life can get frantic, overwhelming or frustrating, we can be inspired by the simplest things.

One of our tasks at our church is to make DVD’s of the sermons every week. Jeffrey does the recording most weeks and I do the copies. We sometimes get behind so that’s been our project the past couple days. Although some may view it as a tedious task, it’s actually a blessing to us. We get to hear the wonderful choir and other special music and all the sermons again. The past few topics have included the “Love chapter”, we are the light of the world, one person can make a difference, words are powerful, God is faithful, do God’s will instead of just wishing and be thankful always. Wow. What a collection.

We all know that certain sermons seem to speak just to us. As people say, it’s God speaking to us through these messages. As this busy time of year is upon us, remember to take time to enjoy the simplest moments, like a sunrise or laughter or a hug. God is speaking to us in those moments too.

So to sum up: we are to do God’s will by showing love through being a light to others because one person can make a difference through encouraging words. Always give thanks that God is faithful!
